    Good evening all,

We are heading off to Spain next week. Ferry from Portsmouth to Bilbao then riding through Spain.
My question is do I take an IDP ? Post office website says I need one, GOV.UK says I don't. I'm sure I don't need one. Advice from you well travelled riders please.

You ABSOLUTELY do not need an IDP - PERIOD.

I’ve had them before when travelling with work and never needed it anywhere in the world.

Can we please put this stupid thread to bed !!

All of this is caused by stupid shit-stirring tossers who love to talk about Brex - something.

France has already declared that a UK drivers license is PERFECTLY acceptable in France.

    This is a COMPLETE non-issue...................

I have an international driving licence's but these are for non-EU countries. Mainland and islands Europe except the UK licence driving licence as valid to drive vehicles that are categorised on the back on a UK licence. The only restriction is the age that you can drive on their motorways. As most of us are over 21 this will not apply.
