After removing carbs cleaning bowls nothing else refitting it starts but has rough idle and blows back through inlet on one side it looks like fuel blowing out rubber gaiter between carb and inlet when it bf's. Could this be problem poor fitting gaiter or air getting in? Spent hours doing bike up now I have this really pis*ed off!

Any intake or exhaust leakage can cause running problems and being able to draw in extra air on the intake side will result in weak mixture which will cause spit back on the intake.

Tricky you confirmed what I thought so I will have to take carbs off again and mounting rubbers and maybe seal them before assembly! Makes sense after stripping for painting and upsetting seals they havent been off to my knowledge a all!! Cheers
