In-line Fuse

    I'm making up an socket on a wire from the battery to run light things like a sat nav, phone charger, or battery charger/minder as Mr Honda seems to have forgotten to put one on Rhonda the Honda, what size fuse would I put in line please?

    DD is correct I would fit no more than a 10A fuse into the + line as you should never need more than that even for charging the battery, you could even try with a 7.5A but that might be borderline for initial charger start-up for a flat battery.

    I actually made up a 3m "jump lead" for battery charging to and from other vehicles with a Din plug and croc clips so I could boost my or another bike battery as a get you home measure. Takes up very little room !!
