Hey people, I got retrenched on 25 Feb, so I thought f@#k it, I'll ride across Australia 2900 miles on my R 3.
I did a vlog which I want to share:

I am in love with this bike.

    Enjoy!

    Welcome John

I will take a look at your videos and they might answer my question but how did you find the fuel range between service stations?

I rode from Darwin to Melbourne over 12 months many years ago on a Honda XL500 and I had to carry a Jerry Can or ride along with someone in a car. The bike died in Townsville so then I got a CB900F to finish the trip in Melbourne where I was knocked off the bike and broke my arm, the bike was a bloody write off too!

Fuel wasn't an issue at all. I carried a 2l jerry can just in case, and would get 300km out of a tank with 2l in reserve. Longest section without fuel is Norseman to Balladonia (approx 200km). Average economy for the 4500km was 5.6l per 100km
