I've read the relevant bit in the manual and it's not that I can't read, but I'm having trouble understanding which dial on the levers - specifically in my case the brake lever - that you turn to adjust the reach. I think I have the right bit, but can't turn it by hand and, being a buffoon, it's not clear to me what I need to use to turn it. In the manual it looks like a knurled dial but in reality it looks more like a smooth-topped bolt.

If anyone has successfully adjusted the reach (I need to make them come in closer to the bar because I'm not only a buffoon but apparently have tiny hands) on their Striple I'd be grateful for a photo of which one to turn and how.

Why not post a pic of what you have on your bike instead of us having to guess.

Push the lever away from you and then turn the dial.

Usually you need to push the lever in the opposite direction to normal. i.e. push the lever away from the bar. This frees up the locking pin on the lever allowing you to turn the adjuster knob by hand.

Trial and error will determine the best position for you.

Let us know how you get on.

    User name checks out. ;)

It's a standard bike, it's not going to be any different from anyone else's, mate. Which is why I posted this in the Street Triple forum and asked Street Triple owners. So not you.

Are you naturally an asshole or are you working really hard at it .................

Nowhere in your original post did you state that your bike was standard as it left the factory and I wouldn't even like to try and guess how many types of aftermarket levers there are that fit street triples, so you just leave it for everyone else to guess whether or not your bike is modified or not.
