    Hi,
Anyone know why Bonneville (or any twin) ignition leads are so expensive? £57.64 plus postage from World of Triumph and £59.99 for a set on ebay.
Seems riduculous when you can get leads for a Mustang V8 for the same price! or 6 for an E-Type for £36.00.
Could you use car ones ?

Are they HT or LT leads as there is a world of difference between the two. LT leads more of less have the coils in the leads hence the high price.

You can not use car ones as they are completely different.

The reason why mustang and E Type leads are so cheap as all they are is a bit of copper with rubber on it.

£60 isn't bad for a set of leads. Try £200 for a set for the Daytona 900 and then you will have something to complain about.

    Cheers

    Thanks Steve,
They are of course HT leads - (forgetting my basic auto-electrics here) so that would explain the price difference.
Will now not feel so bad parting with my £59.99 as compared to your £200.00!
    Thanks again
    Steve
