I nearly bought a RC30 back in the early 90's. I'd always fancied one and had a chance of one at the right price but found it didn't really fit me when I got to ride it. They are very compact for a 750cc bike. I hate cliche's but the RC30 really was a game changer.

I clicked on the link. But could only look at a few bikes. I stopped when
I started thinking about the value of a kidney

Nice that, can't believe the price of ES2's these days, in the early 70's me and a few mates chipped in together and bought an ex RAC ES2 with a massive wooden tool chest side car....for £10...

Some nice stuff there but also some ridiculous prices. Madness.

I'd love an RC30 too but well out of my price range. Even if I got one I'd think twice about using it the way it was intended, which would be a waste. Instead I looked at it's smaller brother, the NC30. Couldn't find a good one at the time but found an NC35 instead. Cost me £2150 in 2013. Still got it and it gets used regularly. Probably one of the best bikes I've owned.

    I'd sell a kidney for a RC30. I actually own a RC31. But it's not a RC30 despite 1 number difference.
