Found on a craigslist post, selling a 2004 Bonnie. This wasn't stock, was it? So retro, like Batman would have it on his bike. Any idea what it is called & how I can get one?

That's really smart Terry, unfortunately I think it's an original part off a MUCH older bike - looks like 1950's style to me.

I think that’s an old nacelle that’s been modified

When I saw the photo the first thing that came to mind was ..... sorry about this ..... BMW.
Looked on google at BMW (sorry again!) R60/2 and there it was. Chrome headlight ring is a bit thicker and the idiot lights may not be accurate but the switch on the top looks a dead ringer.
Have a look and see what you think.

My own question now is, assuming my identification is correct ... what the hell am I doing recognising odd bits from (fairly) ancient German motorcycles?

    Should I be worried??:worried:

I couldn't find a workable speedo+headlight shell combo. The hemi-torpedo shape shown in the pic would overpower the styling on the rest of the bike, all you would see is the headlight. I did find a gloss black replacement shell for the existing all-chrome headlight, so I'll order that.

looks a lot like 1970's Ural 650, which borrowed a lot from BMW.
may be able to find one that way?
    good luck
