Not long ago, after replacing the vehicle’s electronic gear shift module (quickshifter), I noticed that the cruise control function had been disabled, and the green cruise control indicator on the dashboard was flashing.

According to the Triumph service manual, this can happen if the replacement affects the proper functioning of the cruise control system. The cruise control won’t re-enable until the system detects that all related switches are working properly.

The challenging part is that these switch tests need to be performed using diagnostic tools. Without a proper diagnostic procedure, the system won't recognize the switch status. If you don’t have the official Triumph diagnostic tool, you can use third-party devices that support Triumph vehicles to perform the necessary testing.

Below is the screenshot of the diagnostic tool and the function interface I used.
