Welcome, Michael. If that is your address in W*****r that you have given as your location then I would recommend that you get rid of it - quick! Like most forums, this one is open to view by anyone anywhere, and they ain't all as nice as us!! Good luck with your modifications.
Thank you all. Been riding since 16 years old. It was a 1972 Kawasaki 500. Barely made it out alive. Have a 2012 Bonny SE. Way different from my 1971 Triumph Daytona 500. Rode two hours and felt like 5 hours with vibration. On this SE, I can ride 5 straight, no problem. Has 50,000+ mileage, but runs like a pup.
I was right then, Michael. You are just a lad - which unfortunately makes me an old fart! But hey, who cares? I don't give one, flying or otherwise! Okay .... for the record I was born one day after Barry Sheene, but he got almost all the bike riding skills for that week and there was bugger all left over for me! Can't believe that in a few weeks time I'll be 70!
At 64 years, I qualify as an elder biker here in the states. Been reading about your rides, don't see any of that. Having said that, any Triumphs in Northern California that do, I'd like to talk. These retro Bonnies are a treat. Saves on piss stops.
