Not new to motorcycles, not new to wrenching on what I have. I am totally new to Triumph. I have a 2020 Rocket 3 GT on the way. I've discovered the wonders of https://www.triumphinstructions.com While I'm sure I will be asking many a question in the appropriate places. Here are a couple that may not be appropriate for this place. 1. Torx bolts/screws seem to be VERY common in the construction of the Rocket 3. What range of wrenches would I need? 2. Any common problems with the motorcycle that I should be aware of? Many thanks, youzguyz
Youzguyz Welcome to the family. There has been a few topics here about torx bits but in general get a good universal set like snap on. And it is the one bike here that gets nothing but compliments and happy owners. Drop a picture when the steed arrives. Just hit the upload a file button and hey presto. And in my humble opinion you are in the right asylum here these peeps are the best the forum is well run and pleases all. Joe
Hmmm.. the sticky post says to: "Top banner, click on forums and scroll down to find technical help or your model specific section." I did not see a Rocket 3 GT/R section. Not there? If there is, link please. If not, which section would be best for my future questions? Thanks.

Hello, youzguyz, and welcome to the forum! We'd love to see a photo of that mighty Rocket 3 when you get a break from riding and wrenching on it. Hope you enjoy the forum!
A couple of pictures. First one is with my "main ride". 2002 Suzuki Savage. That bike has 219,000 miles on it.. I did them all except the first 2,000. Second is the Rocket just after it rolled off the delivery truck. This is a "hybrid" GT. It has the mid foot controls (like the "R"). Since then (no pictures yet), added a CalSci windscreen and Grip Puppies. Much improvement in riding comfort!
