How often do you clean your helmet?

    I know I should do it more often but I'm not very good at it and it's only when I notice it's beginning to smell.

    I quite enjoy polishing mine, even better when I can persuade the Mrs to do it.

    I wear a silk balaclava, its easier to clean that than the linings.

    Check out helmet prior to each ride and clean visor whenever it needs it.

    Give it a quick squirt of Febreze every now and then,clean the bugs off when needed.....and my motorcycle helmet!!!!! :biggrin:

    I've never cleaned the lining of my helmets. The shell gets a polish about once a week. Visors get cleaned when necessary.

    I always clean my helmet otherwise the wife would never touch it !!!!!!
