    Hi All,

After fitting my SC Project slip on I decided to visit Hilltop Motorcycles in Hinckley, Leicestershire, for a remap, not because I fitted the new exhaust & the fuelling was out, but I know from experience that there are some gains/optimisation to be had. I'm no stranger to Geoff, having visited him about 4 years ago with my BMW GS1200, he is able to optimise the ECU of almost any bike and as I am keeping my Speed for at least 3 years I liked the idea of knowing it was set up optimally. He's a lovely bloke, very friendly, as is his business partner, Mark & they know their stuff, even race teams use them, as well as MCN and specialised bike builders... Anyway, don't go there expecting an extra 5-10 BHP as you will be disappointed, the gains are normally lower down the rev range but noticeable and highly recommended. Geoff's work filled the holes lower down. For those of you who are interested in dyno print outs, here is mine, before and after (attached as a JPEG).

For anyone who wants to know a bit more about what Hilltop do visit: www.hilltopmotorcycles.co.uk

    Cheers.

How big does that low end improvement feel when riding the bike or is it just smoother :)

They've got a good reputation on the GS forum.
Might give them a try in the Autumn.

It is more responsive when rolling on the throttle at lower revs and may be slightly smoother, not that it was rough before as I always find Triumph fuelling normally spot on. If Aprilia could have sorted this out, I would have bought the Tuono V4 Factory instead as it looks amazing, goes like a bat out of hell and has better electronics, but unfortunately I found it fluffy at low revs and felt more comfortable with the Triumph's reputation and reliability). Hope this helps.

Yes, big improvements were made to my GS when I took it there, it was very fast afterwards, like sports bike fast! Highly recommended, whatever type of bike you have.
