I've been lurking on the forum for a few months so thought I should get round to saying hello. I've been a triumph owner since 1992 when I moved over from a few years with boxer bmw's. First triumph was my 1992 trophy 900

that was it on a holiday somewhere in France, loaded up with camping kit. It carried the 2 of us with all this kit with ease. It was a beauty plus a bit quicker and better handling than my previous BMW R100RS. Although you can't see from this it was burgundy with white wheels.
Then moved on to a 900 Daytona. Can't find an image of that yet. Got rid of it because I was worried I'd loose my licence, it just felt so right north of legal.
Replaced it with a 900 Sprint Sport. Again another beauty. It was basically a Speed triple 900 with a more upright riding position and half fairing. Still looking for a good photo of that.
Then in 2002 I bought a Trophy 1200 and still have it.

That was it down in surrey at the end of last year. I love the low down stomp of this engine compared to my 900's. I took it out today for a blast and it's not bad for 18 years. Just realised that givi top box (rebadged as triumph) is the same as was on my 1992 trophy, that makes it ... old....

Maybe one day I'll make it onto a more modern triumph.
