    Hi all
just dropped in for Wales, just picked up a Street Scrambler to go with my Sprint. did about 120 miles yesterday and love the bike, just not sure about the front brake.
Planning EBC HH pads but also looking at upgrade with the CBF1000 caliper.

does anyone know what mounting bracket to use for this caliper and what other models would fit, don't want to step up to Pretech or Brembo.

    any help would be appreciated

Hi, thanks for the welcome, no its not new, the pads and disc seem well scrubbed in, put some more miles in today, changed a few things around my riding, think i'll definitely try the EBC HH at some pojnt, not in a panic after today but I get your point, i'll give it some time.
Still interested in exploring the caliper upgrade, I may never go there but it could be good to have the info in the bank

had a look at this, seems to answer my questions, caliper and bracket needed. had a check on the bike and I think I get it now, I can see how it comes together.
Gonna take a tip from Dozers Dad and ride until I lay it up when the salt starts or if I need new pads, I can make a decision then.
thanks for all the help and welcome

When you have as many miles on the clock as me, some bits are just hanging about doing nothing.
Remember the dog chasing cars ?, well it has got to the stage it's too much effort to even make the move to catch them and when I do catch them, I've forgotten what to do with them. Age is wasted on the yoof.

Welcome Zac. The brakes on the 900's aren't designed for high speed stopping, so can need working hard from high speeds. I doubt different pads would make much difference.
