Hi all very nice new black Speedie RS. Unfortunately on day of delivery I did 50 miles running in and found 2 oil leaks. One was a rather squidgy o ring on the dipstick . Other as cam chain tensioner seal or rocker cover apparently. Not the greatest start to our relationship ! Anyone else out there had any teething troubles ? Cheers

Hi and Welcome, unusual to get leaks on new Triumphs but you will now have those who owned classic Triumphs going all nostalgic over their old bikes oil leaks!
I remember having a gear shaft seal go on a fairly new Sprint RS a few years back, was on way back from Germany when it happened, made for an interesting journey as oil got on left side of tyre.
Anyway, enjoy the bike, from what I've read they are awesome!

Welcome to the forum. Sorry to hear about the problems, but warranties are great things. Hopefully, this will be the biggest problem you deal with over the next few years :) Now let me tell you about the multiple leaks and electronic problems I had with my Twins in the 60s..............as long as they run, you have to love them!

Cheers all ! Now done over 300 miles on the bike. Handling is fantastic compared to my old Speedie! Feels very eager but need to finish the running in to find out the full performance. No leaks though !

Richard, If it's leaking oil it must be a Guzzi!
Great looking bike, in the very best colour.
