Why Portugal? Well while growing up in Kent I was told New Zealand was straight down.

They lied, I moved to Auckland and straight down from here is somewhere around Lisbon I think. So having got here and rediscovered motorcycling (after a penury induced 4 years away) on roads that are mostly empty once you get outside the city, I built a Tiger 675 (or put another way: merged a Daytona 675 with Tiger 1050 suspendy bits) just in time to get it legal before the Tiger 800 came on to the NZ market. Now I have a T800XC as well and have made a dirt protector for the rear shock which I wouldn't mind some free advice on how or where to promote it. Simply put I'd sooner be making or designing things than paying PAYE, so any suggestions regarding the following?

Gidday and welcome to the Forum Tim :upyeah:

Good to see we are getting noticed on the other side of the world.

Your shock protector looks like a good idea as it the first one I have seen that covers the whole shock.

Going to be in N.Z for Christmas (although down in Canterbury) and if you ever get a chance get your bike down there as there are some awesome roads down that way and over the West Coast.

You could always try contacting companies in the UK like R&G or Powerbronze and see if they are interested but I think the biggest problem as always with the land of the long white cloud is that it's just too far away. I know I'm not looking forward to 26 hours in a plane each way with my kids saying 'are we there yet?' the whole way :frown:

    Cheers

    Steve
