Hi all, new member here. just bought myself a Street Cup.

Question: the previous owner had swapped out the bars and mirrors for those off a Street Twin (I think). I'm looking to restore to original bars end mirrors but I'm really struggling to find any (new or used). All parts sites seem to list as 'no longer available'.

Should I expect poor parts availability for this bike or am I missing something?

    Welcome to the forum.

Pure triumph list the round bar end mirror (Triumph Bar End Mirror Black Anodised | A9638133 (puretriumph.co.uk)) but they are expensive at nearly 80 quid for one, and it doesn't say if it comes with the fitting kit. You are probably better off getting a decent set of aftermarket ones.
Also worth checking if the handlebar clamps were changed out as well as the street cup ones are 1 inch rather than 7/8, and it possibly had longer cables fitted.
I'd probably leave it as it is but maybe just fit some bar end mirrors to your current bars. Also the higher bars put much less weight on wrists and hands.
A lot of parts are interchangeable with the street twins of a similar year range but individual street cup parts, such as the seat, have always been scarce.

Hi Richard. thanks very much for the response.
Good point re clamps and cables. will need to look into that.
I plan to ride it for a while as is and see how I get on. will look out for some decent after market mirrors though.

Great intro and thanks for sharing the picture of the steed. Another good dealer is Fowlers of Bristol. And just keep searching you will find what you want. Or just go after market and you can get anything.
    Joe.

Welcome Iain, I have also bought a cup and in the same livery back end of July this year! im loving it, enjoy the ride.

PS there are plenty of options out there and I have found dealers will cross check fittings - part numbers if you are unsure
