Thanks for the inclusion to the forum. I've just bought (but not yet paid for) a 2016 Speed Triple 1050. I traded my 4 year old Triumph Scrambler. That bike did nothing wrong but also did nothing that got the blood rushing. After 65000 kms I thought it might be time for something a bit tighter. I've ordered a tail tidy and can't decide on some noisy cans but other than that, the bike will remain standard. I'm hoping it will be an easy commuter as the Scrambler was a pleasure for splitting lanes. Time will tell if the 1050 is as easy. I've had 2 Daytona 1050's and a Sprint so the power won't be a shock. Anyway, thanks for letting me join and look forward to reading other Hinkley experiences.

Hi Adrian, Quite new on here myself but they're a helpful, friendly bunch, just bought my first speed triple too (2015) unlike you I have to wait for the temp to rise a bit and the roads to be less greasy, safe riding. Dave.
Welcome buddy. I had a speed triple a while ago. She is a cracking do it all bike and when you open up......you will be grinning from ear to ear As for loud cans....look up GPR or SC Project All the best
