Well, actually, I used to ride it but this year when I took it out, the starter went "click" and the battery was dead. I ordered a new one and charged it up and when installed, the dash lights don't even come on. I took it to the local auto part show and they tested it and said it took a load and had a good charge. What happened? My nearest Triumph dealer is about 45 miles from me in another state. Did a fuse blow? I watched videos of changing the battery and all seemed rather simple. I'm NO mechanic and bought this as my older 2013 STR might break down (I'm sure not) but thought I wanted a newer and reliable one. Unfortunately I did not have this one on a trickle charger as I had started it right up about a month before and run it for 30 minutes to give it more charge. Any thoughts would be appreciated as I hate to have to tow it. Thanks for all, Windupbird
Howdy Windupbird without wishing to insult you my first check would be that you have connected the battery terminals correctly and not crossed polarity, after that check the main fuse which should be in line close to your battery
