Hi Mate and Welcome to the Forum Can't help with your questions but someone will be along shortly who will, I am sure.
AJ Walton. Welcome to the Family. There is a multitude of tank pads out there to choose from. My self I like the Triumph rubber pad. Tanks you can fit anything to any thing. But really not worth the hassle. The Street Twin has already got a real nice tank. Save all that bother I would find a donner Street Twin Tank and have it painted in the T140 colours. Do drop us a picture of the steed. Something for us to drool over. Ride Safe & Enjoy Joe.
I have the pinstripe Motone pads, nice shape and useful. Not sure of your riding style, I’ve done quite a lot of modifications to my Street Twin, the three best are change those shocking stock tyres, I went with Continental Road Attack 3, expensive but way way better, I also changed the cheap rubbish shocks to Hagon 2810’s and the front springs from linear to progressive the combined effect makes the Street Twin corner and turn in like a dream
Hi everyone, I am finally entering the trumpet world. Been biking for many years, and always wondered why I never bought one. Anyway I have ordered my bike and will collect it first week September. Couldn’t resist a 69. Get them when you can at my age. Anyway the bike chosen is street rs in storm grey. Proper excited this time round. Heard some great things, some not so brill tho.. Hope I can spend sometime snooping and gaining info on my bike around the forums.
