I'm Fat Max, currently living in Buxton Derbyshire. My current ride is a 2018 Speedmaster, with which I am very impressed. apart from the gearbox issue, it has had from day one. I've been riding bikes and falling off bikes for 56 years, or more now and hope to be doing so for another 56 years. (There is always HOPE) My first Triumph had Sturmey Archer 3-speed and straight handlebars in1964 when I was 11 years old. The Speedmaster is my second Triumph. (I was the proud owner of a Tiger Cub for a few hours in 1970 but as I never got it to start before I sold it I won't count that one) My other passion is sailing and I have a fantastic boat in Conwy North Wales I use a retreat from the frying pans and rolling pins that fly past my ears at MACH 1 when I emerge from my Man Cave at the bottom of the garden 3 hours after my dinner went in the dog. Stay safe and shiny side up!
Welcome to the madhouse you should fit right in. To keep the inmates happy we will need photos Tucker
Hello Max and welcome to the Triumph Asylum - Nursie will be round soon with your 'meds'. With a comedy bone like that I reckon you'll fit in !!!!! Just so you know the forum has an annual get-together which is really good fun; first one was in 2016 and was based near Buxton.
Hi Fat Max and welcome to the forum bugger about your gearbox, been a great year with my Speedmaster. Looking forward to seeing your ride.
Max Holt Welcome to the family. Never had any problems with my speedmaster gearbox matter of fact it was very smooth. You do know we need a photo of the steed to feed the inmates on here in the asylum. So tap the upload a file button here bottom right hand corner and feed us all with a picture of the steed. Makes nursey's job easier as while we ogle she can dish out the meds. Ride Safe & Enjoy Joe.
Hi and welcome. Had my speed master for a year with no problems, so I hope you problems have been sorted.
Hi, As regards to wiring! I'm no expert but if I look at electrical problems for long enough, I can more often than not find a solution. Where are you? and what are you throwing?
Max Holt. We need a picture of the steed to feed the inmates. So just hit the upload a file button bottom right and give us something to ogle. Regards & Ride Safe. Joe.
