Ron. I really don't know much about what he wants recently. I do know he is going to Spain at the weekend coming. I think he will make a decision from there. I am quite happy he is taking it easy. He has his own business running now and is doing really. And his Wife who supports him in everything is expecting their first child in a couple of months time. But I will keep you updated on his decision. How is your machine coming these days. We don't seem to talk as much any more. Regards Joe
Bad Billy. I don't think he followed anything up. He was recovering from that bad crash and sort of slowed up a little. As I said to Ron he will be going to Spain this coming weekend to test his bike. But after that I really don't know where he will go. But I am worried he has fast bikes in his blood like yourself to fast is not fast enough. Regards Joe.
Dozers Dad Like I said to Ron And Bad Billy. He is testing next weekend. Me I am praying he gives it up. But can't see it. Again like I said to Bad Billy when you get that speed thing in your blood its hard to walk away. Regards Joe.
It’s tough for him mate, to be competitive in that class is super expensive, I am a old wannabe riding a commuter bike in a control class & it’s still going to cost me £600-£800 a round to compete. I did think about racing my written off RC8 in the sound of thunder, but I just couldn’t afford it! I hope he gets sorted, I know you would rather he didn’t race but as you said, it’s in his blood mate!
Ron Thanks Mate. May calm him for a while but like Bad Billy when its in the Blood it a hard thing to walk away from. Regards Joe.
Trouble is mate, I am 57 now, always fancied having a go at road racing but couldn’t afford it when I first finished my Moto X racing. But I had a young family then & you have to do what is right by them. Now I find I have a bit more disposable cash & If I didn’t have a go I would have regretted it I am sure.
Hi Joe I also missed this thread. I'm sure your son will make the right decision for him and his family. Wessa
