I'm fancying clear indicators on my MY14 Speedmaster but am confused by the bike's manual versus actuality. Philips do a "clear" bulb that shows orange when lit. They would avoid the "fried egg" look of clear lenses and orange bulbs. The Philips bulbs are 21W and the manual [page 108] quotes the Direction Indicator Lights as 21W. All good you might think, except the bulbs fitted on the bike are 10W! Fuse #7 is rated at 10A and, therefore, even if both indicators are going and I touch the brakes, the max wattage would total 68W. The horn is on the same circuit but, unless that's rated at over 50W, I don't see the problem of fitting the Philips 21W SilverVision bulbs in the indicators. However, before I melt my wiring harness, can anyone advise on the technicality of this please?

    Thanks in advance - Steve
