    My name is Ken, I am currently riding my third triumph, a Tiger 1200 Rally explorer (2023). Previously I had a tiger 900 gt pro and before that a Bonneville t120 Black which i took on a 25 state 7600 mile camping trip over 2 months. I am in colorado.

    I could use some help with tires. I will someday take this tiger "off-road" but not for some time. I will be taking it on an 1800 mile road trip in a little over a month from now though. The current stock tires are almost unbearable with the whine they create at 60+mph. Is this common? if normal, what tire can I switch to in order to make the ride quiet? I will be on highways for at least the next year ( I,m not ready to venture off road yet). anyone else running road tires that are quiet?

    Thanks.
    Ken

    Hi there! Welcome to the forum! ;)
    You may choose the Michelin Annakee Adventure. It is a 80/20 tyre. Or if you need more offroad possibilities the Michelin Annakee Wild which is a 50/50 tyre.
    Alternative:
    Metzeler Karoo 4.

    @Ken Tabor
    Markus has given you a couple of good choices there. All i would add is if you can find Avon's i find them really good with long lasting abilities. Welcome to the family. Picture would be nice if you hit the upload a file button and let us all have a look. Joe
