Hey all, New Triumph owner (although I pick it up on Friday). I've just bought a 2007 Speed Four after passing my test about 2 weeks ago. I was hoping to be riding it by now but the dealer who sold me it discovered a minor problem and they weren't happy with letting it out of the shop. So Friday is new bike day. Alas I didn't think to take more photos of it and so only have this one but will have more on Friday! I do have a Speed Four question, however. It has been sold as a 2007 Speed Four - I assume that is when it was first registered, but I can't see any reference to a 2007 model. What was the last year that Triumph built these bikes? Is there any easy way to tell what actual year the bike was built? Cheers all

Welly. Welcome to the family. Congratulations on the test and the bike. Great bike as a first bike. Do get used to the way it goes as its not slow but so sweet. Bet you got tingles and twitches getting ready. Good dealer for checking the bike was right before releasing it. I know it has let you down but better safe than sorry. Regards Joe.
Thanks all for the warm welcome! I've got another question about the Speed Four that someone might know the answer to. Does anyone know what emissions standard the S4 is compliant to? I guess it might be on the V5C? Not that I'm planning to spend much time in/around London on it but I may do at some point in the future.
Welly I don't think motorcycles are included in the emissions just yet. May be wrong but most mot station don't test for it yet. Regards Joe.
Oh I spoke to the dealer and asked if he had one in black. He said they do sometimes but said to stick with the yellow one as they're faster
