Hi All, An avid Triumph Fan hoping to see lots of pictures of bikes and hear stories of where you have been and what you have. I live in an amazing place for riding bikes and as of yesterday I am the custodian of three Triumph bikes. I just cant seem to get enough. As you might guess, I am happily single....... 2009 Thunderbird 2013 Tiger 800 XC 2015 Tiger 1050 Sports. Cheers Shane
Hi Shane - Welcome to the forum! You're just trying to make all of us jealous with those beautiful bikes and scenery - right?
Thank you for the encouragement, all I can say is "You will all be sorry" ;-) I have been part of several other non bike forums in the past, and I can see I will be spending a lot of time here with my fellow Triumph Addicts. Tasmania is a very motorbike friendly place to live, I live just 20 minutes south of Hobart, in a very nice sea side suburb called Blackmans Bay. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blackmans_Bay,_Tasmania https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tasmania Here are a few more photos, firstly of my Tiger 1050 sports, when I first got her, with as many options as I thought I might need for cruising around the amazing state of Tasmania. A few more of the Thunderbird, which although the white seat looks really nice, its a bit slippery and makes it difficult for a pillion, so I have a dual comfort seat and rack for her now. A friend made a bag for the rack out of leather. Next is some saddle bags. Lastly the Tiger 800 XC, which I first rode Friday 24th (Yesterday), on a short test ride, which lasted 4 hours. I was blown away with how agile and how much fun it was/is. I am currently investigating what I need to get it ready for taking of road and playing on gravel/dirt roads which will allow for more camping and exploring that my other two bikes wont. the XC comes with some metal panniers, and I am thinking of getting a radiator guard, engine crash bars, and a good long sump guard for starters for it. I am really looking forward to chatting with all of you. Cheers Shane B

Welcome aboard Shane, I'm the proud owner of 2015 Speed triple and loving it, yeah, just a little jealous of your climate and roads but glad you're enjoying them.
Hi Shane, welcome to the forum, I wish I was back there, I lived in Little Swanport for 7 years (99-06) The Trophy went too but I never got much time to ride it, but covered a lot of the state for business.
