    Hi guys,

I’m Herve from South-West of France ;). I’m 42 years old. I ride on is an Honda CB650F, good bike but boring. So, I’m interested to replace it by a 2016 Speed Triple R or S1000R. I’ve tried these bikes and like them. But I think that the Speed is better for my use.
Otherwise, I have two daughters, practicing road and moutain bikes.

Well, happy to rejoin the Triumph forum community and hope quickly to get the 1050 !
And sorry for my bad English langage. :p

Hi Herve, firstly your English is 100% better than my French, so welcome. Whichever bike you choose I'm sure you will enjoy it, especially in your part of the world

Hi and welcome Herve, i can fully recommend the 16 Speed Triple R. I would say it's the handling that makes this bike so much fun :)

Salut Hervé et bienvenue au Asile de Triumph - il faut faire fou !! ;););););):rolleyes:

Regarding your next choice of bike, we on here would obviously recommend the Speed Triple over the S1000R (which is an excellent bike) because the Speed is a better all-round bike for the 'real world'. Fast? - yes! Handles brilliantly? - yes! Loads of fun? - absolutely. Cheaper than the BM - definitely ! Speed Triple range starts at 12 500€; the S1000R range starts at 13 500€.

There are lots and lots of HAPPY Speedy owners on here and all say the same thing - GET ONE !!!!!!!!!
