My name is Damir and I'm from Zagreb in Croatia. After 2 years of owning aprilia tuono v4 aprc 2013, bought speed triple rs 1200 last month and now after 1800 km on it, have to say that it is terrific bike that could easy do commuting and hooning. My 1200 rs is the only new rs in my country so far.

Welcome. I rode my 900 Thunderbird down through Europe and on the way visited Croatia . Really beautiful country and I hope to visit again one day .

Very cool that it's the only one in the country--although I do hope that there are resources and support if you do need that. So, I have to ask, you said that good for communing and hooning. What's hooning??
Hooning is speeding around. Generally anyone being reckless is labelled a Hoon. Famous racer/drifter Ken Block has the Hoonigan racing team HOONIGAN: A person who operates a motor vehicle in an aggressive and unorthodox manner, consisting of, but not limited to: drifting, burnouts, donuts as well as acts of automotive aeronautics.

Thanks, Dartplayer! Hoonigan is a word I've never heard before but it will be a useful one to add to my vocabulary. I've seen some of the Ken Block YouTube videos but didn't know about the racing team--or the name of it. I like it! Similar to "hoonigan" yet different, the word that I'm familiar in the context of motorcycles is "hooligan". I've mostly seen or heard the word "hooligan" used as a slang term for street fighter models. It also seems to be used in conjunction with flat track racing. As an example, the flat track races at Las Vegas Bike Fest are called "The Hooligan Dirt Dash".
