Hi Jorris, welcome from an America owner. Poole bike night looks mega, last time I was in Poole I was rolling off the ferry from Cherbourg, happy days.
Thank you all! I am gonna go search the forum to suss out what everyone is using to clean & polish their Triumphs.
Hello I joined yesterday live in poole I basically use most meguires products on fairing, a good quality car shampoo, (meguires gold class or autoglym body shampoo is good) Chain I clean with paraffin and lube with wurth chain lube No jet wash just sponge & buckets and brushes to get in small areas If you need to degrease anything I use gunk
Cheers Jaseapphy! I want to keep my Triumph looking its best! I only got the bike last week and I must say its really nice so I think it deserves some good products to keep it looking good! Regards jon
This thread may help: My top tip, do not use Fairy Liquid! http://thetriumphforum.co.uk/forum/f20/cleaning-polishing-blinging-tips-293/
Thats strange Richard because the thread clearly states that you do use warm water & fairy liquid...
There was a guy who bought his sprint from a dealer near me and whilst he was away his dear old mum sprayed wd40 on his calipers as they were going rusty! Luckily he wasn't killed!!!!
Thank you all! I've picked up loads of cleaning and polishing stuff from steve at conquest carbon with a discount today! Awesome service and highly recommended! Thanks Steve!
