Hello ,,, Never been without a bike since i had my RD 250 in 1978 when i was 17 ,currently have a ZRX1200R which i have owned for 12 year now , also like to try relive my youth , and have 3 x rd400F , a 350LC and a YPVS 350 F2 once i suss out how to post pics i will get some on here , not that great wi computers but have a bit of time on me hands havin just had a hernia op , been toying with a new bike for a wee while now , and really fancy a 765RS or do i go with the speed triple ?? dare i say i even like the BMW S 1000R hmmmmm decisions , going to have a run up to a few dealers soon but as i cant ride for a few weeks its going to be window shopping only ,
Hi Mate and Welcome to the Forum , 765RS would be my choice, more nimble and easy to ride than the Speedie whilst being very nearly as quick, the BMW while it is a good bike I found it a little bland and without character when I rode it.
If I was in the market..... I would want to compare the R. The torque numbers on the highway make more sense for everyday riding, the cycle parts differences are minimal and it does not come with the price premium. I grew out of ‘magnumitis’
must say only one i ridden was my mates 675 which he has now traded up to the 765 i was well impressed as you say more nimble and just as quick
Hugh Kennedy Welcome to the family. Nice bikes. Something different for the inmates to ogle tonight. Nursey will benefit from a quite night. Ride Safe & Enjoy Joe.
How’s the recovery going Jock. How come you needed a Hernia Op mate, little Phil said it was whilst picking up your wallet
