    Hello from Tasmania Australia.
I am now the very happy owner of an 04 model Triumph America and would like to fit a heel toe shifter but they appear to be as scarce a rocking horse teeth.
Having used one on my Honda Shadow ACE 1100 many years ago I loved them!
If anyone out there could assist me in locating one I would be eternally grateful.
Thank you and hopefully we can round one up.
    Cheers for now

I'm the 3rd owner, and it has lived only 30 odd kilometers away all it's life.
The original owner had the spotlights and bags installed when new, and I recently re-installed them.
I think this one will be a keeper!

Welcome to the forum, Virgil! :grinning: Thanks for sharing photos of your good looking America. Good luck finding a heel-toe shifter. I've taken more of them OFF my bikes over the years than I can remember. :joy:

I'm afraid my search for a rocker shifter (heeltoe) for a carb model America is a non event, being only the efi model available and no one able to tell me if they are interchangeable.
If anyone out there has been able to modify one successfully I'd like to know how.

Hi @Virgil1959 , they are the same bike , 790/865cc there is no structural differences ! The differences are mainly mechanical , or carbs to EFI , so fuel tank has a pump in EFI versions. Most everything else is the same.

    cheers capt

Thanks for that capt!, Even the dealers are scratching their nuts cause there are different part numbers so they're confused. I'll get one ordered and take it from there! Cheers

Recently installed a set of "Staintune" pipes to improve the noise!
Well !, the volume certainly improved, but she snaps crackles and pops more than a bowl of rice bubbles!
After searching the net, I installed the air injection delete kit and I'm hopeful that a ride this weekend will tame things down a bit!
According to the info out there the low end throttle response should improve as well.
    Will report back! Cheers.

Those spot lights look great and suit the bike right down to the ground!

G'day everyone!, decided to remove the pillion seat and backrest and try the solo look.
I really like it, and will leave it this way unless I'm taking a pillion.
Does anyone know if there's a 20211024_150232[7760].jpg delete kit still available ?
I've seen a few photos but they seem to be now obsolete.
They were slotted and appeared to be made from chromed steel or polished alloy. Cheers
