Im looking for spare bulbs and I see that my bike uses bulbs marked X3 in their part number, this seems fine cos eBay has loads. I would like to know what this stands for, can anyone help? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/H7-Ultra...179384&hash=item440853d292:g:85UAAOSw9~5ZXd~g Does the H7 refer to the type of electrical system?
H7 is a fitment style, it's all to do with the socket the bulb fits into. Nothing electrical, it's a physical thing.
This x3, am I being stupid? The manual says "12v 55w h7 x 3 " when I put that in to ebay I get results with x3 in it. If its quantity 3 then how do I (even with a double headlight ) need three. The centre bulb is main beam.
Excellent, thats it. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/OSRAM-H7...144595&hash=item1c9db75363:g:N7MAAOSwoddaVKY2 I went for these 60% brighter 20m more light, and they are not too expensive. Good site Smillinjack I learnt something.
