Hazards Not Working

I’ve looked through several forums and everyone with a similar problem were related to LED’s. I don’t have LED blinkers.

Bike is new to me, 2018 Street Twin and is fitted with LED auxiliary lights tapped into power feed to tail lights. I disconnected them from the wire jumper and the hazards still didn’t work.

I disassembled the hazard switch and was able to engage the left and right blinkers individually manually with a spare wire at the solder points but when I gave power to both simultaneously mimicking the operation of the switch, they would not work.

Next I disassembled both the headlight and tail light assemblies to check all the wire connections. Also removed gas tank…nothing was loose.

Last clue is that if I attempt to engage the hazards with the switch, the blinkers will not work again until after I cycle the power with the key.

Any ideas?
