    Just heard on news this morning 25% rise in duty on HD products.
    These bikes are over priced as it is going to make new owners even bigger hill to climb now...Im glad i already own one..did i say that out loud.
    Mind ,could be a good thing for triumph, heres hoping.

    ........except it is slightly more subtle than that. Most of the rules apply to country of manufacture, not Brand. You end up encouraging manufacturers to move assembly to places that circumvent the problem - e.g. Triumph servicing it US market from Thailand or Brazil. Harley opened a plant in India in 2014........

    Aren't HD currently building a plant in Thailand and closing the factory in Kansas?

    Thing is with them is they do hold there value rather well.Mind i dont think id be looking to buy a new one nowa days it depends on what rocks your boat.
    Ive sort of gone back to old school in every bike type now,might be a age thing
