Time for my annual treat to one of the greatest pieces of writing in the English language. "Cry God for Harry, England, and St George!" Enjoy your day all. :)

Shame we don't seem to celebrate our National day with the same degree of enthusiasm the Welsh, Scots and Irish do theirs. I may have a cheeky Shandy when the sun gets past the yard arm though

The speech is on st chrispins day 25th October, not st George’s day, but the sentiment is valid. Thoughts of organising a ride for St George’s day say in the Peak District somewhere to celebrate being Englishmen but anyone is invited our Scottish Welsh and Irish brethren

I know, but it makes a handy link into the fact that it's also Shakespeare day today. :)

An ice cream at Monsal Head will suffice. No need for sackcloth and ashes :)
