It's also my mum's birthday she's 81 and I suspect she's a little upset that she can't have the family around. It would also have by my grandma's birthday.

She is our Queen and all respect to her. She does more for this country than most would like to give her credit for. And she is a loyal Brit. I though her Birthday was June though.
    Regards
    Joe.

I don’t remember her doing much when grenfell towers burned killing dozens, the ones that survived had no were to live while she had 620 spare bedrooms at the palace,my dad was Coldstream guard in the late 50s early 60s he’s told me some right stories about the royals, the queen mother was known as the royal bag.

Really you should keep your opinions to your self. Why don't yo go to Afghanistan. She is our Queen. I to was a guardsman and shared a glass of sherry with our Gracious queen Mother and a more gentile lady you would never meet. The queen didn't set the Grenville fire. It is just asses like you that have not got a clue spreads muck like you are spewing. Well I for one don't want to hear you trash. I have personal opinions on lots of people but I wont be spouting my mouth of on a public forum like you.

Sorry if you royalists don't like it but bollocks to the queen and all the so called royal family. Bunch of stuck up cnuts. If you feel entitled to wish the queen happy birthday then I feel entitled to air my view. Now I'm going to put my tin hat on and go out the back and get into my Anderson shelter. :D

Think there is a little difference here. No one is on here bad mouthing you. The Royal Family have never done you any harm and probably don't even know you. So why do you have to be such an ass.
    Regards
    Joe.

Royalist yank here. I dig the Queen EIIR. Ascended at a relatively young age, contributed to the war effort and religiously grounded. She is a pretty bad a$$ stalwart and tough spirited - I respect that grit and she is still rocking it at like 94. I even have a framed print of her in my home office acquired in 1996 when I visited the UK. Wife and I had just started watching the Netflix The Crown series, pretty interesting despite the entertainment liberties taken with the series as whole.

That said, I am glad I do not have to bear the tax burden to support the national dole they draw upon but they do bring in a fair amount of revenue I assume to offset some of that. Nonetheless....Happy B-Day your Majesty!

No disrespect an all that but, frankly, we haven't had the legitimate royal family here since the Stuart's were expelled.
I believe the current legitimate claimant is Duke Francis of Bavaria.
I have no truck with our current ' Johnny Come Lately' lot.

The French and the Russians had the right idea, unfortunately we missed that boat.

Do you know why Empire biscuits are called that ?

Before WW1, they were called Kaiser biscuits (jelly looks like spike on helmet), and because you had Germans on the throne of England, it was deemed unfitting, so they changed their names to Windsor and the biscuit became an empire biscuit. :p

So yeah, let's get rid of the Germans / Greek tax burden.

Thanks Mate. I am not to stubborn' d to know that I got a little over the top. I love our country and I love our Royal Family. Alought like someone said I do wonder what comes after our great Lady. Plus I had just said goodbye to a gentleman who was the last of the old residents here where I live. He just about gave me all my roses and flowers I have in my garden. And when I moved here in the early eighties he made me feel welcome. So I was a little down.
    Thanks for being a Friend.
    Joe.
