think I have got the handlebars right for me now. at last. I purchased a pair of Norman Hyde western bars,
which I found too low and too wide 35". Made a pair of risers from BMX bike stunt pegs approx. 1 1/2". which did improve it.
Next put original bars on with risers, good height but felt narrow 27" wide.
I had a pair of original flat bars from my 2000 Harley fxd superglide on the shelf so decided to try them
31" wide with the risers and it feels about right. I fitted a clutch cable from a America and had a longer HEL front brake line made up. plugged the ends up with a couple of 12 bore cartridges. (used of course)
