You have to swap the rear light finisher with the grabrail too, as it’s got a cutout each side that the standard one hasn’t got.
I have a tail tidy now, but if anyone a grabrail (Mint0 Bryan, I have ordered a Evotech tail tidy from Conquest, I get the bike Saturday morning, apparently all the OEM bits are with it, hopefully the bracket you mention is included.
you havnt understood me, the grab rail comes with a replacement black plastic finisher that fits round the subframe and rear light, its not a tail tidy like the Evotech one, its one of the bikes original panels under the pillion part of the seat.
Sorry Bryan, thank you for that, I am hoping to get out for an hour next weekend, if I haven't the components to remove it will be a case leave it in situ till I can sort it out, Thank you for the advice "If in doubt ask"
You can remove the grab rail, there are just 2 small cut outs left in the plastic finisher. The black bit around the rear light. the cut outs are under the very end of the pillion seat just b4 the white panel starts.. Conquest do a nice Carbon replacement but its not cheap! £199 I think, original plastic one is about £70 new, hope you get lucky and the original one comes with the bits.
Bryan, I'm being a bit picky, but I hate white crash bobbins, going to take better photos when the bike arrives of the bobbins and see if another member wants to swap for black items
Bryan, that is what a naked street bike should look like, when I have finished my alterations it will be very similar sorry for the plagiarism
LOL, I'm thinking of going to a painted battery cover so whole tank is white, will be even more like each other, though I got the light PVM wheels!☺ Have a look at the Powerbronze or factory screen to add to the top of your fly screen if it hasn't got it already.
I've asked Conquest to let me know when the carbon tank cover battery cover is back in stock,,,i have been a carbon fibre whore since the early 90s
Bryan, you are absolutely correct, I would imagine the replacement (OEM) section is available from Triumph, I can live with it for now as the weather is a bit shite and I wont be venturing out till it breaks
yes Your bikes one is here. https://www.worldoftriumph.com/partscatalog/catalog/browse/catalog/triumphmc/modelid/610352/
