Hey hey people!! I'm back! Man I am not looking forward to reading all these threads!! I have a confession to make..... I'm afraid I've chopped the speed trip in!! Against all my thoughts I fancied a change.... And I figure if I don't get on with my next bike I can always go n get the R next time!!! What did you buy buddy? I fancy a 675 Daytona but not sure if it will be what I want, power output don't seem a massive difference to my remapped tuned TT600
I've gone for the Tiger 800Xc... Took one out from Pidcock Triumph on Saturday and loved every minute.... I went with the view trying the Explorer 1200 but didn't even bother sitting on it in the end!! Got a great deal at Piddies too, off to Austria on it in less than two weeks so that will be its testing ground!! I don't know anyone who's disappointed with the 675 street or Daytona mate, I reckon if you try it you'll wonder why you waited till now, awesome tool... If your any where near the midlands go to Pidcock Triumph and ask for Dave Munt or Curtis, they will sort you right out...
Congratulates on the new bike Jim, hope you don't miss the top end power the Speed Tiple gives. Will certainly be more comfortable long distance to Austria and luggage options are way better. Not much time to get it run in and serviced before you go though.
It is a good touring bike option and the film showing it being ragged is simply great... Good all round bike.. Will still get to the wrong side of 100 so you can still get nicked...
