Hello from Dripping Springs, Texas. I recently purchased a 2015 Thunderbird Storm, my first 'cruiser' style motorcycle. I was never into cruisers much, but had a chance to ride my cousin's Storm and really liked it. I'm still not super comfortable with the forward controls, and will be looking at kits to bring them back 4 inches to make it not so extreme. Otherwise I think it's a gorgeous machine. My Storm has 900 miles on it, which is a mixed blessing - it looks like new, but the previous owner let condensation begin to rust the tank and then the fuel pump died. She then took it to a 'mechanic' who disassembled a portion of it, took her money, and then did not fix anything. I now have to figure out how it goes back together. My other bikes are Moto Guzzis. I've always loved Triumphs, though, and have always wanted a Bonneville T120. Eventually I hope to own one as well, but feel that for a cruiser the Storm is hard to beat for its style and overall competence.
