    Brilliant:wink:

Wish I had left it at home on the side stand that day, cost me 3 broken ribs and an insurance write off. Was an old bike but great for touring.
That gouge in the grass is where the cylinder head met the ground.

So, OP, what do you need to know about riding on wet grass:biggrin:

Hi Big Dave and welcome to the forum. Am Sure the test will go fine; after all my Mrs managed it at 42 never having ridden a bike before. I feel so lucky that she now rides everywhere with me

Alright Big Dave - welcome to the forum, looks like I'm late to the party with this one judging by the comments so far! Enjoy the posts - most of its friendly banter but very occasionally a helpful tip will appear? :upyeah:

Evening everyone, I have a very novice question for you, please don't mock me too much!

I've been out this afternoon and bought a jacket, trousers, gloves, boots and a helmet, all very nice and reasonably priced all I need now is a high vis vest as it's all very black! My question is......I've bought a Caberg flip front? Helmet, it's nice and comfy but has two massive Caberg stickers on the front and back, should I remove them or should they stay on because of the warranty or something?

Thanks in advance and yes I'm a massive novice but someone has to ask :)

I took the manufacturers stickers off of my lid & put some Triumph stickers on instead. Tell us more about these "decent fuck ups" you have made in the past, lets have a chuckle! Lol

Haha all in good time mate, I've only been here a couple of weeks I don't want you all thinking I'm solid just yet!!

I went to buy leathers today but went with textile stuff from ixon, it looks pretty good to me but time will tell! It's bloody warm like! I went with a Caberg Duke helmet which has mixed reviews but seems quite comfortable, I've got a massive head so was a bit limited. Hopefully I've invested wisely!

Not heard any bad stuff about Caberg so probably a good buy. Textiles are a good choice too, really, but over the coming months/years you'll find out what's right for you, I'm sure. Just enjoy your riding and above all, keep safe!

Thanks mate, I will! I'm beginning to think I should have bought a white helmet instead of black though? I might pop back tomorrow and try and swap it!
