I don't normally buy Ride, but spotted it on the shelf in Tesco so picked it up. A glowing 'end of year' review by Kev Raymond with lots of nice pics. Good lengthy review too. ..and it's the right coloured bike Def worth a read.
I've never been so popular. I went in Spa yesterday, when I got back on it I saw a grey haired man limping swiftly up the road, he stopped me before I set off. He'd driven past, seen it, gone round the block and parked down the road. He engaged me for ages.
Yes Double D, its always " i used to....". This ones making a trike using an old Sprint engine . On the down side, i knocked a silicone tube over this aft'. The nail in the end that was keeping it from going off chipped my tank. Spunkspunkspunk !!!
I've had a few chats and thumbs up from admirers, first time it's ever happened to me after god knows how many bikes but it's not from grey haired men with a limp and a 'I used to have one of those' stories but younger men with check shirts, long beards, skinny jeans and brown boots, I don't which is worse !! Still, it's certainly a bike that grabs a lot of attention..
.......and on page 88/89 of the same mag they say.... 'I'd probably go for the standard bike as I don't need the fancy suspension, and I 'd spend the savings on getting a more characterful exhaust'...... .....I never really rated Ride mag before, but now I know those boys are a really class act and know what's what!..... .....even better, it comes in the 'classic' white and black colour....so it's colour co-ordinated with all those great looking Ace Cafe stickers....tee hee...! Cheers and Happy Christmas and a great 2017 to everybody... dickydido
