Went for a nice ride today. Really cannot see for the life of me why people don’t ride all year round.

I ride all year maybe not my bonnie but I got no choice nor complaints. And I quite enjoy it. No heated grips no super dooper riding gear just me and the elements. Well I have a set of hand shields. Good on you. The breakie looked good to except the red meat.
    Regards & Ride Safe
    Joe.

    cheers Joe,

no heated grips (yet) nor heated seat. As the bike was cheap (£1500) I spent 700 quid on good Full Gortex gear. Nice and warm at speed and bone dry if it rains. What’s not to like!

Man after my own heart. Was a cheap bike indeed. I got to start looking harder as I can never find them.
    Regards
    Joe.

I've just got back from Belgium on my Tiger 955i.
Did 20k on my last one last year.
My favourite bike of all time in 50 years of riding
    Winter is such fun.

That's the ticket. Staying dry is the first best line of defense against old mother nature!

All these new (adventure) bikes are great but old cheap bikes like the tiger are about 97% as capable. I’ve been buzzing around today doing errands and the roads are clogged with sheep in their cages and I’ve saved loads of time.

All the modern bikes have which I’d like is better brakes and ABS as the roads are very greasy.

yes I’ve got dianese gear but bought the jacket and trousers seperate in different sales and saved a good few quid on excellent gear. All I can say is the Rukka stuff must be out of this world at the price they ask?!
