Situation: I have a GoPro and a few mounts for the bike.
Issue: My handlebar mount is not reliable enough. There must be better ones.
Question: What do you use ?
    Solution ?

This works for me not stuck to headlamp bezel so I can remove headlight. I’ve put foam on the back of the camera to reduce vibration

I use a handlebar mount for my GoPro which has been 100% reliable. However it is the older handlebar/pole mount which is all alluminium, the new mount that has superseded it does look a bit crap, and I don't think I'd trust the new one.

    This is the older mount:

    And I use it in conjunction with a 3rd party extension/swivel: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B071R3JD5W

In case anyone is interested in this mount, the product code is AMHSM-001. They can still be found, but can be pricey, the best price I found was from Uttings.co.uk https://www.uttings.co.uk/p127490-gopro-pro-handlebar-seatpost-pole-mount-amhsm-001/#.XTcLr-j0nic

As I have fitted bar end mirrors to my Street Triple, I wanted to find a way to fix the GoPro to one of the freed up mirror mounts.

This is what I came up with, neat cheap and works well...

    A reducing rod connector M10 male to M6 female - £2.99
    https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BZP-REDUCING-CONVERTORS-ROD-CONNECTORS-BUSHES-THREAD-MALE-TO-FEMALE-M8-M10-M12/182188388871?ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&var=484027665467&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649

Aluminium bike headset top cap mount for GoPro - £5.38
    https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Aluminium-Bike-Headset-Top-Cap-Mount-fits-GoPro-Hero-3-4-5-6/281218688421?ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649

I painted the rod connector (but I think black heat shrink might be better), and cut down the M6 allen bolt to 10mm. The only problem with this solution is that the rod connectors only come as M10 x 1.25 thread pitch and the old mirrors are a 1.0 pitch, so I tapped the mirror mount to 1.25, which is not an issue for me as the old mirrors won't be going back on.
