    I thought we were having both? BBQ Friday and "Last Supper" on the Saturday. We did this on the first GMU in the Peak District. :cool:

    Joking aside, a full meal out is a financial extra that not all will/can want to pay for.
    My biking holidays are done on the cheap, sleap in bunkhouses, eat breakfast in a can, box of beer, etc. I know others go the other way and can afford it, and all good to have options to suit all pockets. But to make a meal a definite part of the weekend is to possibly exclude someone. A BBQ is all inclusive, and that is why I would opt for that option. :cool:

    Weather good in Wales!!! Bit unlikely, but even then, it's only water and only the heid BBQ'er will get wet! Oh and whoever (Wayne in his Day-Glo suit) holding the brolly over the grill :p

    BBQ has to be done. That then leaves one night for a Sprinter special feast. Don't want to hurt Jamesie's feelings after all. And I doubt the Unicorn could come anywhere near the quality (or craic).

    It’s approximately 1m between the Bunkhouse and the centre of Llanidloes. So my thought were a BBQ at the Bunkhouse on the Friday and a meal in town on Saturday. Both of course are optional.

    But if we do want a meal in town on Saturday then it would be a good idea to book in advance as all venues are small.

    We could of course have the sprinter special on the third night.

    And James topped even that with his Sunday roast at Tyndrum on the recent 1sr Annual Scotland Road Trip (with fine help from sous chef AndyPandy). It was a genuine surprise treat for us all all, and again top quality on a budget.
