today's question.... Footrests... 2002 Triple 955i New boots, no heel...slippery foot rests. Just wondered what the options were - or any pointers, like the bike is in fact built around the foot rests and you need a workshop full of tools to replace - I have seen that foot rests can cost over £200! Who the #&*£ has £200 to spend on foot rests!? I just want something jagged so my foot grips.... Opinions welcomed....
What about Oberon foot pegs? - They are available in several colours and styles... Oberon Web SIte: http://www.oberon-performance.co.uk/acatalog/Foot_Peg_Kits_FK.html And available from many 3rd party suppliers like Squaredeals: https://www.squaredeals-ltd.co.uk/o...footpegs-all-triumph-applications-22280-p.asp I have the racing footpegs on my Bonneville and I like them, certainly better than the standard massive rubber bricks IMO
Don't know if they are the same as a 2000 onward 955i Daytona but if they are R1/6 footrests fitted that, I am talking literally just the pegs which fitted in the original Triumph assembly. I had trouble with my feet slipping off when it was wet, the spikey Yamaha ones were much better. it's worth a scan of Flea bay to see if there are any about, I found these which look like the ones I used from memory. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rider-Fr...367009?hash=item4b15079a61:g:C84AAOSwhUFdf8DS
thank you both. I saw the Oberon ones...and I saw those "yamaha ones"....its good to get some feedback, thank you!
