Gearshift On Se - Anyone Fitted A Rubber?

    The alloy gearshift pedal marks my boots terribly. Seems totally unnecessary to use such a material P) without rubber - I think it's original? My old Triumphs (Daytona T100 and TR6) never had this!
    I have yet to measure it to find a rubber of the right bore, but before I start experimenting, has anyone found a rubber that fits?
