I have a 2012 Triumph Tiger 800XC. I use my bike to commute to work. Unfortunately my job requires business wear. Anyone have any ideas on a product I could use on the gear shifter that will stay and not wear down the top of leather dress shoes?

Leave your shoes at work or put them in the pannier or in a bag and strap them to your seat and wear boots! Your opening yourself up for a nasty ankle or foot injury with no proper protection, but if that’s the way you want to go get a mountain bike inner tube cut a section out of it and slip the toe of your shoe into it

Thanks for the replies. I found a product that is supposed to cover the shifter. I'll let you know how it fits.

Yorkshireman... Problem solved. You can sleep at night now. :joy: Great comment.!
