Picking up a 2016 Tiger Sport next week, but would like to add a gear indicator.
    Any recommendations?

Hi WesSmith - hopefully this is not too late to be helpful.

There are 3 types that I found.
    - Ones that fit a sensor to the front wheel and use that to estimate the gear
    - Ones that fit to the engine crank and use that to estimate the gear
    - Ones that fit to the gear kicker and measure how many times you gear up or down.

I had the first type fitted to my Tiger Sport '13. I say "estimate" but its never wrong (Im not technical so sorry if this is inaccurate in how it works).
Never had a problem with my GiPro - search e-bay the £90 Healtech ones are the type I used. There are similar ones for about a tenth of the cost, but the dealer bought mine so I didn't mind. The dealer said this was the only type that worked on the Tiger Sport, but they may have just been taking the easy option ;-)
Fitting needs care as the sensor mounts next to the brake disk and you certainly don't want it to get too close!
